These terms govern your use of the FreeNotes website and note-taking service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
FreeNotes lets you create, edit, and store notes, and optionally share them via public links with password protection. The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
When you use "Continue with Google", your use of Google's sign-in service is also subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policy.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and remove content that is unlawful or violates these terms.
Anyone may report a shared note through our report form. We review reports in good faith and may remove reported content, or suspend the responsible account, if we determine these terms have been violated. Submitting knowingly false reports is itself a violation of these terms.
You retain ownership of the notes you create. You grant us the limited right to store and display your notes as needed to operate the Service — nothing more. You are solely responsible for your content and for making backup copies of anything important.
Making a note public means anyone with the link can view it. Protecting a note with a password is a convenience feature, not a guarantee of secrecy. Do not share anything through the Service that you cannot afford to be seen.
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free, and we are not responsible for data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these terms; continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.
